Hahaha. From what l’ve seen and heard of you, Lauren, I seriously doubt you need help lowering your Dork-rating. I suspect a false positive.

i’m disappointingly “joe normal”: 47 % Nerd, 30% Geek, 13% Dork. however, i noticed that a lot of this is based upon a self-evaluation of one’s own social (and dancing) skills. as this study somebody linked to on making light points out, people who are incompetent at a skill are also incompetent at their self-evaluation of their level of skill.
so i might be a lot more dorky than this, in fact, more dorky than lauren because she, possibly being more competent, would evaluate her skills lower than i would, possibly being less competent. therefore her higher dork rating indicates a lower actual dorkage.

That study you linked to is very interesting. I once dated a guy who said to me, “You don’t even realize how hilarious I am.” He was right. I didn’t.
