Interview with Scott Westerfeld
The mind-bendingly talented Scott Westerfeld, author of Uglies, Midnighters, Peeps, and so many thrilling tales it strains credulity, has just posted an interview with me on his website. Some highlights:

What 6:00 AM is like
Alternate meanings for P.M.S.
How and why to erase a whole person
Dive in! (You know you want to.)

Wow your book seems really interesting from the interview! And i don’t think it was really 30 seconds. Ha ha! Anyway I’m totally going to recommend it to my friends. Great job!
Thanks, Samy. I hope you and your friends enjoy it!
wow, Lauren, I love how you actually respond to all these comments! you are totally cool, unlike some authors who claim they’re too “busy” to listen to their adoring fans. haha jk.
but still, that’s pretty awesome. and your life sounds amazing. i wish i could spend all day writing! instead, i get about an hour on the computer until my brother gets to kick me off. or i can write in my notebook until my hand cramps up. and there’s always that whole issue with school and homework…
bleh
Believe it or not, Audrey, even writing full time gets a bit bleh some times. But I do love it and it’s always so nice to hear from people. I think of my blog as a great sprawling conversation. I’ve learned quite a lot from it.
I can not wait to start reading this book! I’m going to Borders tomorrow and getting it! Total props on your first book published! I’m sure it’s amazing!
Thanks TZ!
Lauren! Huge congratulations. I’ve been looking forward to your book for ages and now it is winging its way toward my favorite local bookstore. Let’s aim to bump into each other sometime soon so you can sign my copy, you author person you.
Thanks, Karen! I shall arrange the cosmos to bring about our collision as soon as possible.
Hey, so I am the one with cousin your doppelganger. Hah. anyways, then I asked about if you had a website….and found this. YAy

Hey Lauren. I got your answer on Scott’s site about the crazy cousin story. THen I decided to ask if you had a website. After asking I googled you and found this. YAY.
Well it looks like either my computer malfunctioned, or maybe thats becuase I am impatient and pushed the mouse button to many times. Hah.
Hi Shaylaluna, welcome to my blog.
Best. Interview. Ever. All thanks to Andrew’s cat icon
I finally received my copy of the book in the mail yesterday and I was delighted to see that it is, quite literally, shiny! Then Alaya stole it from me.
Never let Alaya go near shiny things. Don’t you know this about her?
But they make her so happy! I can’t resist waving them in front of her face.
Bought your book yesterday. Finished it today (2:30, to be exact).
Two thumbs up!
Sleep deprivation closing in…
Thanks, Beka. Now get some sleep!
