There’s an excellent critical discussion of Cycler going on at Bookgazing. Issues of feminism, sexism, homophobia, and all kinds of juicy stuff are the subject with different commenters contributing their very individual takes on how Cycler intersects with all of these issues. I’m loathe to jump into the discussion because I don’t want to be the Voice Of Authority. Cycler belongs to readers now, not me. But I’ll definitely be lurking. Check it out and add your two cents. Oh, and don’t worry about offending me, it’s nearly impossible to do. Ta! 3 Responses to “Juicy Cycler Discussion at Bookgazing”Leave a Reply |
What other books has Lauren McLaughlin wrote?
Hi there, Syd. I’ve published only two novels so far, Cycler and its sequel, (Re)Cycler. I have another one due out in the fall of 2011, tentatively entitled Steal the Future.
Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing some research on that. And he just bought me lunch since I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! Best Escorts, 8, 31 Maddox Street, London, W1S 2PB, 020 3011 2418
